I had to cook it for 10-12 minutes longer than the recipe suggested. No upper crust is used, as in a cherry pie. The liquid (lemon mixture) was also way too much for my tart pan. This pie is different from the lemon meringue pie, which has meringue on top. The lemon pie is prepared with a bottom pie crust.
